Outgoing Mizzou Atlanta President Chad Bozarth has been working with the Mizzou Alumni Association to guarantee that we will always have scholarships to give to deserving students headed to Mizzou from Georgia — by endowing a scholarship with the University.
Endowing a scholarship is not a simple undertaking, but it is not overly complicated. It requires Mizzou Atlanta to raise at least $25,000 in funds; our goal is to do so over a five-year period. Once funds are fully raised, the Chapter can award an annual scholarship equal to 4.5% of our total fund. The base amount, or corpus, is never touched and will endure forever.
So how do we get there?
We’re asking for pledges to contribute a minimum amount up to five years, all of which is tax deductible. You can contribute as little as $10 or as much as you want, at one time or over time. It’s up to you.
